I was so excited to get to photograph the Mosses recently, especially with the addition of little Sophie Belle. They are truly a beautiful family.

Here’s a few frames from my portrait session last week with the McGoverns here in Griffin. It’s nice just to photograph a family having fun in their backyard — that kind of relaxed atmosphere is what allows children to really be themselves, which makes for the best photographs.

I had the opportunity to photograph the Mosses again at their beautiful home in Pike Co. today. I was trying to go for something different with Vanetta’s maternity portraits, considering I photographed her when she was pregnant with Noah. It’s always fun to photograph families, especially one as good-looking as this bunch.

For the third or fourth year in a row, I took Christmast portraits of the lovely Garrish family at the their home. Here’s a couple of my favorites.
This is Isabella, my second step-cousin (it’s complicated). I grabbed a few frames of her this afternoon while she was helping out in the garden. I’ve photographed lots of people over the few years I’ve been shooting, but she has to be the most photogenic person I’ve come across. I’m going to take some portraits of her and her little brother later this week, and her father (my first step-c0usin) suggested that I wait to see if I would get something better before posting this photo, but I just couldn’t wait.

Meet Noah Jackson Moss, a 7-lb, 10-oz. bundle of hair and wrinkled skin who entered the world on Tuesday (I didn’t know they made hands that small). He’s the son of Vanetta and Jared, who I photographed earlier in a maternity portrait session. You can see those photos here.| © 2010 photosoup | Suffusion WordPress theme by Sayontan Sinha |
