I just moved this blog to this domain, but apparently none of the images came with it. So please forgive me that the images from the past 3 years are simply not there. I’ll be working on fixing it, but it will take some time.

I’m soooo excited to do this post. Myself and fellow photographer and Griffinite, Greg Foster, plan to open a photo studio here in downtown Griffin along Taylor Street. There’s a lot of details to be worked out (and manual labor!), but we’re trying to get the doors open around the first of June. It’s not going to be a typical studio, in that it would not have normal office hours. Instead, it’s going to be simply a place for Greg and I to shoot portraits. We’re also hoping to offer some photography classes and maybe have some gallery showings. We’re trying to nail down a name for the studio, so give us any suggestions you may have. I’m going to be blogging the progress and eventual opening, so stay tuned! (I know I used too many exclamation points in this post, but given my excitement, I think it’s warranted!)
Saturday was my last day at for The Griffin Daily News, after working there a little more than three years. There are some things I will miss, but a lot I won’t. I start class at Clayton State on Aug. 20 to finish my bachelor’s degree in journalism, so wish me luck. You can see a few of my favorite from the GDN on my sportsshooter page.
I just wanted to share the latest wedding photos I added to my weddings website. Simply click on the “galleries” button and then click on “Jeff and Karen.”
In another sad example of how much time I spend in front of my computer, I’ve put up several more photo galleries on my website. This section, cleverly called “more galleries,” includes photos that I just want to share. Some just have pretty colors, and others have my pretty girlfriend (I better get some points for that one). Just click on the above screenshot to go there.
